For Chavie, growing up in the home of The Rebbe’s representatives to South Texas, an open-home to all was a natural way of life. After graduating with honors from the Lubavitch Girls High School of Chicago, she received a diploma in education from Beth Chana Seminary in Safed, Israel.
Her devotion and care for a brighter Jewish future endeared her to Jewish communities from Victoria, British Colombia to Nijmegen, Holland, and all across the United States. With her exceptional love for children and energetic upbeat demeanor, Chavie spent three years teaching at the Gan Gani Preschool in San Antonio, Texas, the Chabad Center preschool in Rockaway, New Jersey, and served as a Mechaneches – Mentor at the Lubavitch high school in Morristown, New Jersey.
With their warm smiles and non-judgmental approach, the Bruks and their five children Shoshana, Chaya, Zeesy, Menny & Chana Laya service the spiritual needs of Montanan Jewry.
